I was skimming through the pages of Etsy this morning and noticed a certain lovable, hirsute, woodsy-ish character popping its head up all over the place. Yes friends, our beloved night-flier and hunter of small rodents, the owl.

I've always been fascinated with owls--yet, never seen one in the wild. I've always imagined it as a somewhat haunting experience--to look up in a tall tree and spot a mysterious owl staring right back at you. I suppose it'd be similar to the feeling you had the last time you were "rocking out" with your headphones on--only to open your eyes and see your mom staring at you, puzzled...

Kind of like that owl I was talking about earlier.

What is awesome?  "Jeopardy", that's what.  And the host of the long-running game show, Alex Trebek, has been doing his thing for decades.  Mustaches were cool, uncool, and then cool again...all under his tenure (and nose).  My all time favorite Jeopardy category was "Potpourri".  This was basically an excuse to put all the leftover bits of trivia (not otherwise easily categorized) in to one cleverly arranged group of "answers".  Unpredictability ensues.

The meaning of green...

Not sure why, but for some reason I woke up thinking about green.  Maybe it was seeing all the trees and grass during the walk I took yesterday.  Or maybe it's the kelly green cruiser that rests in my living room.  Perhaps it was simply the Symbicort commercial (the one with that beautiful green and white classic truck) I saw last night, just before venturing off to lala land.  Whatever the reason, here's some green from the scene:
